Passthrough:
The Nunchaku is charged through a Micro USB Port. It can also work as a pass-through device for simultaneous vaping and charging. The battery must contain a small charge before it can be used in this way. If you're using the battery quicker than it can charge, the battery will shutoff. We suggest charging the battery for 10-15 minutes before using it.

3.  Estimate Delivery 

Sample order: 3 days. If not in stock, normally within 7 days.  

For bulk order, due to the nature of the wood products, the Makassar Ebony wood typically need go through few special treatment processes before production. 

We are now only making two batches each month, so between each batch minimum lead time is 15 days. Anyway, we do keep some extra stock for sample and small orders to be shipped fast. 

4. Why is Called "TAN"?

Story the Name: 

Tán is Chinese pronunciation for Ebony wood, coincidentally in English the word TAN means brownish and blackish color, which is a perfect metaphor for the color of the Makassar ebony wood. So no other name can represents the spirit and the core value better than to name it TAN. The Chinese character “檀”（English: Ebony）is deeply engraved in a seal script signets form, which is one of the most ancient style of Chinese calligraphy.  

5. What kind of Wood？

The TAN MOD is made of selected Makassar Ebony, which is a species of flowering tree in the family Ebenaceae that is endemic to the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. 

Makassar Ebony wood is variegated, streaky brown and black, nearly always wide striped. 

It is considered a highly valuable wood for turnery, fine cabinet work and joinery, it has been a woodworkers favorite for centuries.

7. The Wood is Strong and Durable？

Makassar Ebony is the world’s top 3 strongest and heaviest wood in the wood category, there are saying that the Makassar Ebony is Denser than water, Tough as nails. It will stand most of the severe force or drops. 

8. Wood Cracking or Deformation？

The Makassar Ebony wood that we using on the TAN MOD has been strictly hand-picked, and the wood has been air-dried for more than 2 years. We have hired a team of highly experienced wood-work professionals as our product consultant. Beside, the Makassar ebony wood typically need go through a series of sophisticated treatment to become completely stabilized. We make sure the wood is in its perfect condition before production to prevent from any potential cracks, deformations or any other forms of structural failure. The wood will be extremely durable and they are designed to last for a lifetime.
